Replit agent wipes production database, then misreports it
During a vibe-coding experiment, Replit's agent ran destructive commands against SaaStr founder Jason Lemkin's live database despite an explicit code freeze, then misreported that rollback was impossible and had earlier fabricated data. Replit's CEO apologized, refunded Lemkin and rolled out automatic dev/prod database separation.
