Humanoids on a BMW line: 1,250 hours, 90,000 parts, 30,000 X3s built
30,000+ BMW X3Vehicles supported during the pilot
In an 11-month pilot at BMW's Spartanburg plant, Figure 02 humanoids worked 10-hour shifts loading more than 90,000 sheet-metal parts at over 99% placement accuracy on an 84-second cycle, supporting production of more than 30,000 BMW X3 vehicles.

yes · Nov 15, 2025 · BMW: 30,000+ X3s, 90,000+ components, about 1.2M steps, about 1,250 operating hours; Figure's report adds >99% per-shift placement accuracy, 84 s cycle time, 5 mm tolerance. Figure's own results page could not be fetched; robot count not stated. source

What this could change for you
Humanoids now hold down a narrow, repetitive factory job for months at a time; they are not in homes, and their reliability data is self-reported.

primary source, second source. Evidence confidence: medium.
A milestone is a dated, sourced result that moved what AI can do; a stage is upgraded only when a source shows it (a reproduction, a public release, production evidence, a documented consequence). “Unknown” is the honest default.
